On Saturday the 12th of March 2022 ,Sgt Barry Connor and Garda Barbara Kelly organised a Garda recruitment event at Mosney Village, along with Sgt Geraldine Greene and Intern Luke Murray of the Garda National Diversity & Integration Unit. Almost 20 people, originally from Afghanistan, registered their interest in joining An Garda Síochána.
